Center for Translational Approaches to Pathogens of Human Significance
Our research targets highly prevalent diseases like malaria, tuberculosis, schistosomiasis, and ebola—which collectively cause 2 million deaths annually with roughly half occurring in children.
Our COBRE supports and fosters a dynamic cadre of young investigators employing interdisciplinary approaches in their research to accelerate the delivery of therapeutics to mitigate the significant morbidity and mortality caused by some of the world’s most deadly pathogens.
